Motor Vehicles

Well my birthday is coming (March Tooth) and my DL will expire soon. I have been driving now for nine years. I have been lucky to avoid many major hurts. One thing I cannot avoid as I embark on my 25th year, and my 12th car. I bought a Dodge Ram yesterday, big ole lifted, redneck, and GORGEOUS truck. I am returning to my Mint Hill roots. Some I have had for years, some for mere days. Here is a list of previous vehicles I have owned in quasi-chronological order.

1989 Chevy S-10 Tahoe 2wd (68k-112k)

(still owned by my mom)

1989 Honda Accord DX 5speed (119k-174k)

1992 Suzuki Sidekick (92k)

(sold it in 3 days)

1991 Toyota Pickup Reg Cab (143k-157k)

1992 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4x4 (144k-154k)

1993 Mazda Miata (93k-94k)

(sold it in 5 weeks)

1993 Honda Accord EX 5speed (154k-182k)

(28k in only 7 months!)

Grand total that is 191k +/- of driving. I am glad I didn't do it in one car. Some people get very sentimental when thinking of their car, I guess with the exception of my S-10 I don't really have too many connections with them. People however do, I know my mom always thinks of my driving the S-10, so does Dhara & Ashley. I am sure Meredith thinks of my 89 Accord as does Sara, Amanda always thinks of my 93 Accord. I wonder which vehicle you associate with me. I will always identify Amanda with her Focus, my mom with her Green Jimmy, Sara with the blue Tracker, Nick with his matching S-10, Merph with the Mirage, Ashley in her Silver Malibu(still has it) and Dhara with her Silver Camry. Just remember, as much as love your car, it is constantly depriciating on you!!!
